American Football Star Loses Diamond Earring

The Miami Dolphins defensive end lost a precious gem, a 2.5-karat diamond earring.

Langford searched high and low, enlisting teammates, including the entire defensive line, groundskeepers and team officials and public relations interns to try to find the expensive bauble that's worth at least several thousand dollars. However, it was nowhere to be found.

“I forgot I had it on,” Langford told the Palm Beach Post after searching for an hour. "I’m going to go to meetings and then come back out here."

Langford doesn't have insurance for the earring.
