Diamond Jewellery Stolen

Valuable jewellery, including sapphire, diamond, ruby and emerald pendant chains and rings, was stolen during a raid on a city centre department store, police have confirmed.

Officers are appealing for information following the break-in at John Lewis in Cardiff last month.

As previously reported, items were stolen from a first-floor jewellery counter which was forced open during the burglary at around 5am on Monday, March 11.

Giving fresh details on the break-in, Detective Sergeant Matt Powell said: “There were several people and cars in the area surrounding the store at the time of the burglary.
