Diamond Jewellery stolen

Distinctive jewellery worth £4,000 was taken by thieves from a home in Buttercup Close, Dunstable, on Friday .

The burglars forced their way in through the front door between 12.30pm and 9.25pm while the homeowner was out.

Among items stolen were a yellow gold ring encrusted with three diamonds and two rubies, a diamond pendant, a pearl set in a gold ring and an amethyst and gold jewellery set.

Diamond Jewellery Stolen

Valuable jewellery, including sapphire, diamond, ruby and emerald pendant chains and rings, was stolen during a raid on a city centre department store, police have confirmed.

Officers are appealing for information following the breakin at John Lewis in Cardiff last month.

As previously reported, items were stolen from a firstfloor jewellery counter which was forced open during the burglary at around 5am on Monday, March 11.

Giving fresh details on the breakin, Detective Sergeant Matt Powell said: “There were several people and cars in the area surrounding the store at the time of the burglary.
